Blockchain theory, shipped as protocols
We bridge the gap between academic blockchain research and production infrastructure. Most protocol papers end at simulation — we take them to production.
Close the gap between theory and deployment
The blockchain space publishes thousands of research papers every year. The vast majority never become production software. The ideas are sound, the proofs are valid — but the engineering gap between paper and product is enormous.
Cryptuon exists to close that gap. We take novel protocol designs — cross-chain composability, fair ordering, smart contract compilation — and turn them into infrastructure that developers can deploy today.
We build in Rust and Zig because blockchain infrastructure demands the same performance and correctness guarantees as operating systems and databases. We publish under MIT because open standards win.
Timeline
Founded
Cryptuon established in Scotland, UK. First research paper published.
Research Recognition
Universal Atomic Composability paper recognized by a16z Crypto Startup School. 5 papers published.
Products Ship
SolScript on crates.io. Zig-EVM benchmarks. AssetL2 wins Solana hackathon. nklave production-ready.
Scale
Enterprise partnerships. Tesseract mainnet. Expanding the team and product surface.
Principles that guide every decision
Rigor First
Every solution starts with formal analysis. We prove correctness before writing code, not after.
Open by Default
MIT-licensed. Open source drives adoption and trust. Proprietary lockin is a bug, not a feature.
Ship, Don't Simulate
Good ideas without production code are just ideas. We measure success by what developers can deploy today.
