Assess, implement, operate

Every engagement is scoped in writing with deliverables, exclusions, and acceptance criteria. Start small with a fixed-fee assessment; each later stage is optional.

Process

How an engagement runs

  1. 1

    Describe the outcome

Tell us what you need to launch, fix, integrate, or operate — and when it has to work. No product knowledge required.

  2. 2

    Paid assessment

We measure the real workload or codebase and compare options, including ones that do not use our technology.

  3. 3

    Proposal with acceptance criteria

A fixed scope, milestones, exclusions, and the tests that define “done”. You approve before any build starts.

  4. 4

    Delivery, then operations

We assemble the technology and specialists, deliver against the criteria, and can operate the result afterwards.

Terms

What you can hold us to

The commercial boundaries that apply to every engagement. The full capability and maturity register is on the trust page.

Cryptuon is the principal contractor

When you buy a delivery, Cryptuon contracts for the outcome and is accountable for the specialists and providers it brings in. If we are only making an introduction, we say so in writing.

Assessments are not independent audits

Our assessments are engineering reviews. Where you need an independent security audit, we scope it and bring in a third-party auditor, priced separately.

Pass-through costs are explicit

Third-party audits, substantial infrastructure consumption, and specialist legal advice are either included in the written scope or priced separately. Nothing is hidden in a day rate.

We recommend what fits, not what we wrote

Cryptuon’s open-source projects are used only where testing supports them. If a managed provider or another open-source project is the better fit, the recommendation says so.

No custody, no investment returns

We deliver and operate defined technology. We do not take custody of funds, trade on anyone’s behalf, promote tokens, or promise investment returns.

Never send keys or seed phrases

We will never ask for private keys or seed phrases. Repositories, logs, and financial records move through a secure process agreed after qualification.

FAQ

Commercial questions

How much does a Cryptuon engagement cost?

Most work starts with a fixed-fee assessment from $1,500 (specialist assessments from $3,000). Implementation sprints start from $12,000, managed operations from $1,500 per month, and sponsored engineering from $15,000. The assessment produces a written, costed scope before any larger commitment.

Why start with a paid assessment instead of a free proposal?

Because the useful work is measuring your real workload or codebase. A free proposal written before that is a guess. The assessment is designed to be worth its fee on its own: you keep the analysis, options, and risk register whether or not you proceed with us.

Who is accountable if a supplier you bring in fails?

Cryptuon is. When you buy a delivery, Cryptuon is the principal contractor and is responsible for the specialists and providers it engages. If we are only making an introduction, that is stated in writing.

Are your assessments security audits?

No. They are engineering reviews. Where an independent audit is needed, we scope it and engage a third-party auditor, priced separately, so the audit stays independent of the team that built the system.

Do you have to use Cryptuon’s open-source projects?

No. They are used only where testing on your workload supports them. If a managed provider or another open-source project fits better, we recommend it — the assessment compares the options explicitly.

Can you take over operations after delivery?

Yes. Managed operations covers defined monitoring, maintenance, incident responsibilities, provider management, and supported changes within an agreed envelope, from $1,500 per month with a three-month minimum.
